Strand Woven Bamboo is a natural product derived directly from the stem of the plant, which grows wild in the mountainous regions of China. 
Bamboo is very environmentally friendly, it is self regenerating and grows to full maturity within 5 years, it is also exceptionally hard, twice as hard as Jatoba and with a tensile strength exceeding cold rolled steel, giving it a high resistance to indentation.
