Engineered Hardwood Floors

Engineered floors are made up of a hardwood top layer with a multi-layer real wood backing, the result is a floor with a minimum of seasonal movement. These types of hardwood floors are installed as a floating installation on a thin underlay and can be installed over virtually any type of sub-floor. The boards are fitted together by a quick fitting woodloc joint system, although some products still use a traditional tongue and groove system, this not only produces perfect results but makes fitting quick and simple.

Kahrs and Boen ranges are 14/15mm thick and Legacy range is 20/21mm thick.
